Tapered furled leader vs. tapered mono leader

Which of these two leaders turns over a dry fly better:
1- a tapered furled leader?
2- a tapered mono leader?

Which leader turns over a dry fly better on a fairly slow E-glass fiberglass fly rod?

    standard tapered mono leader
Personally, I don't care for the furled leaders because I can't get them to float well for dry fly fishing. I've tried all the so-called 'tricks' to keep them floating, but nothing has yet worked for me satisfactorily. I dry-fly fish mostly with small flies, and if the leader doesn't float, it's more difficult to keep the small stuff floating.

Interesting. I've been trying the Feathercraft 4' light trout furled leaders with 2 1/2' of 5X tippet for small streams and a #14 dry fly. I grease the furled leader with silicon based Mucilin and have no problem with keeping it floating all day with one treatment before fishing.
