Blowin' Smoke in Savannah.

We have lunch or dinner there with my son's family each time we visit. It never fails to impress and the beer list is impressive. For lunch on Christmas Eve I passed on the Fat Tire on tap in favor of a bottle of Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA. Instead of cooking at home we bought a smoked turkey from them for Christmas dinner, man was it gooood!
The restaurant is in the building where Joe "King" Oliver died in 1938, poor and mostly forgotten.

The GOP big tent now is the size of a pup tent, its floor splattered with guano.

IT’S not hard to get Emile DeFelice riled up. Just mention Paula Deen, the so-called queen of Southern food, who cooks with canned fruit and Crisco. Or say something like “You don’t look like a Southern pig farmer.” He’ll practically hit the ceiling of his Prius.

We stopped at Wegman's in Frederick, MD on the way home to buy something for dinner. They had beautiful Berkshire pork chops, but at $19 a pound we settled for nicely marbled ordinary ones at $5.79 a pound. Passing on the truffles at $999.99 a pound was even easier.
Think I will hit the White tomorrow with the mild temps and all
