AR-15 for the win

A pregnant Florida woman, armed with a semi-automatic rifle, gunned down one of two home invaders who had broken in and were pistol whipping her husband, officials said Monday.

the victim claims he didn't know his attackers. I seriously doubt that. And I'm sure the cops do too. Random home invasions are very rare.
Life is dangerous.
Fast Food??
Popeye
I note that she only fired one shot. Nothing special about an AR-15 in being able to do that. My lever action .35 rem could have handled that (and had 7 more rounds too boot) .
Winners everywhere.

Wait a second I thought AR15s are useless because they can't be used for home defense.
So you think shooting your friend is home defense?
Well yeah. Because after the one shot they ran out the door. If they would have stayed I'm sure multiple shots would have been fired.
How do you compare an accident to self-defense?
That article isn't even an apples to apples comparison.
Can you prove this??
Mudinger!!!!!!!
If I had a choice between a glock 45, a 12g riot style shotgun, or an AR, to defend my property from any possible scenario. I'd choose an AR. If you're preparing for anything, it's hard to beat an AR. That's a fact. I don't own one, but I understand why people do. It's really cheap and highly effective insurance.
Actually it is because you are more likely to kill a friend or relative than defend your home with one.
Can I invoke Mudinger on this?
Ha. Well, technically it’s something more than opinion. So yes you can.
