We were in Vegas two weeks ago and it snowed on the mountains around there. Pretty with Palm trees in the foreground and snow capped mountains in the background.
As far as snowing in Vegas, the first time since '79. I wonder if that means "accumulated snow", because it snowed once the day before we got there and then again while we were there, but nothing stuck, just flurries.

They didn’t have any de-icer at the Phoenix airport, so we just had to wait for sun to burn off the frost on the wings.
