Hi folks,
Does anyone have some thoughts on how to best tie upright wings? Mine never turn out right!

That's a tough question, what type of wings are you trying to tie--hair, feather-tip, bunched mallard or wood duck?
Each uses a different technique. My best advice for the interim would be to Google (or whatever) "Tying (name your poison) wings" and see what comes up--there are probably tutorials for any type you care to try.
Beyond that (and in a totally joking manner) you might try a pair of thumb-transplants and twenty years of practice as my first teacher recommended for me.
