Tell me again why Joan Baez is in the rock and roll hall of fame? [among others]
I find the assault on free thought disturbing,
I find the willingness to give it up frightening.

    This year--The hall of fame Finally put in Jeff Lynne---way too overdue---I seen the "Out of The Blue" Concert in Toronto in the 70's---seen many others since---still my fav

    Crooow:This music would work better with women in bikinis shaking all over the place. I guess that's true of any music really.

    Well, Brenda Lee got in. And i like that the Ronnettes got in.

    Baez took enormous flak for her politics, and I give her credit for sticking her neck out.

    I can see the Ronettes, they and their "like" are the roots of R&R.

    Brenda belongs in the "Pop Hall of Fame." I agree with you on Baez but this has nothing to do with her really...she belongs in a folk hall of fame. She even thought it was weird.

    Bridge of Sighs has been a perennial part of my music collection since the 70's. I have a Pandora station based on Robin Trower.
