    While this is true, mis-calling the May 7th polling would be a much, much bigger screw up

    I did everything I could to encourage my French friends to get everyone out to vote against her. I hope it has some effect....Trump has scared many of them....

    Actually, it did happen there, and many of the French still are in denial about wartime collaboration. Le Pen's party has it's roots in Petain's fascist WW II regime under the Germans.

    My father fought his way from Normandy to Paris to Germany. He always said that when the war ended the only thing rarer than a German who had been a **** was a Frenchman who had not been in the Resistance. :)
