Scott, I share your sentiments but see a silver lining. If they had been convicted they would have become martyrs and we would have had to hear about it ad nauseum.
Juries are unpredictable. I wouldn't read too much into it. It doesn't seem plausible to me that jurors from Portland metro were sympathetic to Bundy and crew.
