So don't drink 2-4D. And wash your vegetables.

You should be washing them anyway.

Weird, I actually spray weedkiller on weeds. But hey, different strokes for different folks and whatnot.

Is this huckleberry only spraying the weeds?

If anyone thinks herbicides kill the weeds and then disappear they're out of their goddamned minds.

So you're saying that herbicides are exactly the opposite of Keyser Sose?

That's a hot take indeed. Sherb, what are my legal options here?

I don't speak Wabash. What the heck does that mean!?!

Sherb, am I wrong, or is English not spoken anymore by our Albanian invaders?

Missed any RoundUp recall unless that's what's in the 2-4-D ? Real RoundUp worked like napalm, only in about a couple days. Total brown out.

    You're over paying. Seriously.

Organic does not mean a singular agricultural practice. A larger company's definition may mean something different than a smaller company's.

So you can't say "you're over paying" across the board. True for some products, not true for others.

Well, that is where I, as a consumer, can voice my concern over pesticides. It is worth it to me to promote organic farming practices, even if the farms the produce comes from isn't some picturesque BS like the label on Hidden Valley ranch dressing.

By the way: Ranch dressing = Devil

I'm paying for food that doesn't have synthetic pesticides applied to it.

If you put Franks on it it neutralizes the herbicide. Fact!

The whole "overpaid for organic" food deal is true. And it isn't. To me it really depends on WHAT you're buying. I've had organic beef and chicken that was much better than in the store. Same with some produce. And if you're ordering organic produce that you're going to peel because you want to avoid pesticides, well... you're removing a LOT of the pesticides just by peeling it. Like almost all of them. I've also had farm-raised pork that wasn't organic, but had low levels of antibiotics and it was excellent.

The sad truth is to support the numbers of people we have on this rock, we need to have non-organic, factory farming to feed this many people.

    I totally agree with this.

However, my main concern over pesticides isn't health-related. The air I breath in Utah probably does more damage than a Monsanto/Dow Chemical IV would. My concern is in relation to the amount and kinds of chemicals we are pouring into our soil and watersheds. Its about environmentalism for me.

Oh, I understand. I was in a national forest spring today that's had a dramatic shift in habitat over the last decade or so. It's due in part to anthropogenic impacts of more people in the area plus heightened nitrogen and phosphorus levels in the water due to runoff and changes in aquifer chemistry. Plus other factors. I've also seen what's happened due to the runoff getting into our river systems here. Not pretty.

So if we kill of 50% not only do we get all organic food but we could stop global warming?

As if survival of the fascists hasn't been a main focus of pseudo-religions since the world got divvied up after WW II & they have been force feeding the masses for years with more farmed inorganic organicized factory rhetoric. Synthetic hate for rock heritage as a supplemental diet might be how they develop policy.
