    I'm looking for a Democratic alternative to H, but this would be throwing away my vote. He won't last until UT's late primary anyway.

    Agreed. I'll keep my eyes open though.
    I voted for Obama in the Dem primary as I saw him as more electable than H. Nobody will mobilize the R base like Hillary.
    Come Nov '16 I will pull the lever for her without any fanfare. I won't even get a "I Voted" sticker.

    And that has value. it means issues get fleshed out that wouldn't otherwise get a hearing. I think Cruz is the right-wing counterpart to this.
