    Slate is a super-annoying publication most of the time, producing Malcom-Gladwellish pieces that are supposed to be edgy and counterintuitive but tend to be stupid and predictable. I keep reading though, because every so often they post something cool like this. I have to admit I didn't know that.

    The one duty we owe to history is to rewrite it, I suppose.

    They have the best podcast for sports on this planet, and likely the solar system: Hang Up and Listen.

    Plus, who doesn't love a good Dear Prudence column?

    edited to add: The linked article mentions Radiolab... another super awesome podcast.
