    My FIL is now 85. He enlisted at 16 (lied about his age of course) and served 2 years in the Pacific with the Navy. Came home at 18 and got married at 19. Married now 64-65 years, I'm losing count. He saw things on the islands that were horrific. Not many of the old vets left.
