Rove and Koch's may have to reveal donors

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued a ruling that could begin the process of revealing the identities of secret donors to groups connected to Karl Rove and the Koch brothers.

Oh, goodie! Then we also get to see how much George Soros is contributing and who is giving to Act
    Blue and Emily's List!

You can already see which organizations are big contributors here. http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/list.php Warning: It is pretty much dominated by those who primarily support Dems, so it might cause you to rethink things.

I'm fine with Open Secrets. All Superpacs and major contributors should have to disclose. I think when and if this occurs you will see that the major single donors are wealthy gopers while say Act Blue does it with "much of that money comes in donations below the $200". You see that would be "the people" not the "person"

BTW if you bothered to read the trash you try and sling you would also know that Act Blue does not lobby the federal government.

As for ASFCME, the contribution trend for 2012 is about $3.4 million not $47+ million. Furthermore ASFCME "Top Contributors, 1990-2012
No individuals contributed $50,000 or more in any single election cycle."

    Another epic fail!

Let me be really clear. I'd like to see both sides limited on their giving so that no person, organization, company, union, or whatever gets to influence political decisions. I think we'd be better off if every person was limited to something like $1,000 per candidate per campaign.

But you posted about how this great new development would limit the Kochs and Rove. Incredibly naive, so I called BS.

Where did I say this? Reading comprehension seem to elude you.
Two epic fails in one post. Would you like to try for three?

    Poo Flinger.

    "Epic fails"?

I stongly suspect that when you failed to make your high school debating team they told you it was because you were too short.

You posted the silly title of this thread. The link took me to a blogger who was wearing similar blinders. All Kochs and Rove, no mention of Soros, etc. The link I posted had a lot more facts than the one you posted.

Come on. You must be able to do better than this! Well, maybe not.

That's right play the victim. Where did I say this would limit Rove and Kochs? Nowhere. If you had made it to high school maybe you would have learned how to read something more involved than **** & Jane.

    Yatahey, have you become delusional?

Here's the thread name and content of your original post.

I made it past reading about **** and Jane, got through and Ivy League school in the top 10% of my class and managed to get an MBA from a top 10 B-school. You? This latest post of yours really has me wondering.l

Nope. First guy in my family tree to earn a college degree. My parents felt really good about that. So did I.

    Well, thanks, Greenman!

Started out with pretty much nothing. Ended up totally immune to any "awshits". Short of an apocalypse that is, in which case we all go down the drain.

Hope y'all can do the same.

    Never Right,
Still don't see anywhere in this thread where I said anything remotely like you assert. I've put your quote in bold to help you focus on what you claim I said. Now if you can understand those 6 simple words, then show me where I said this would "limit the Kochs and Rove."
In lieu of you inability to show such prove, I am now finished with your idiot based troll. It must be tough having to live with your reading disability and obvious lack of self esteem.

Yatahey, yet another case of you appearing to be more dense than lead.

Let me try to point it out for you in simple words.

    1. When you started this thread you had to give it a title.
    2. The title you chose was "Rove and Koch's may have to reveal donors".

In the interest of being helpfu, may I suggest that your reading comprehension might increase if you clean your monitor of all the frothy spittle that has accumulated there.

Reveal=limit in Never Right land. May I suggest a Webster's Dictionary.

Reveal. verb - Make (previously unknown or secret information) known to others.
Limit. verb - Set or serve as a limit to: "try to limit the amount you drink".

Now go back into your troll hole.

Dear mods. I think it's time this troll receives a warning. He is obviously only perusing this line of thinking to annoy.

May I suggest that this chart is worthless - at least as of this point.

There's a Republican election going on. All else equal, is it really surprising that Republican donors are spending more NOW?
Interesting point of fact, Adelson (apparently still the largest donor) has given all his largesse to Newt Gingrich, yet Newt basically flamed out after a very brief period in the limelight. Sometimes, money doesn't matter.

    but but Steven

remember ... it's only Demon-crats who do sneaky, nefarious, behind the scenes things all hell bent on destroying Jesus America

BTW, I feel extremely lucky to have had the priveledge of meeting and talking with Sandra Day O'Connor during one of her many trips to Bozeman. Not only can she fish but she is a common sense conservative and she feels her former SCOTUS colleagues screwed the pooch on Citizen's United and this 'Corporations are People' BeeEss. She has warned (and correctly IMHO) of undo financial influence usurping the importance of the individual's vote and the outright buying of public office that eventually disenfranchises the voter and taxpayer. According to Volk like Glenn Beck that makes her a 'socialist' like TR.

For anyone, however, to compare Soros' input and clout in politics with that of the Koch Brothers and call it 'same-same' is just more the same Rightwad Talk Radio Deflection, Denial and Paranoia that has gotten the GOP to the Circus Clown Car it's become.
