I find the willingness to give it up frightening.
I wouldn't have a problem with PETA if they actually were against abuse of animals, you know, the folks who starve a horse or other animal, beat their dog or blind their cat, that sort of thing. But stopping hunting or fishing, ethical slaughterhouses (if thast isn't an oxymoron)? People do have to eat and I have no desire to be a gerbil.

PeTA does a better job of hiding this fact, but they are still getting rich
