Pythons. Snakeheads. Yankees. We're overrun with invasive species!

The Yankees are the worst. That is one big snake. I took my son fishing in both the saltwater and freshwater parts of the Glades. We pulled the boat up against some mangroves and I told my son to look up and check the branches. He said, "What for" When I said, "Snakes" he was in the back of the boat in about two seconds.

There's another story out about a gator and a python in a death struggle at the Anhenga Trail (sp). These snakes have no natural predators in the Glades. This is not a good thing.
