    Off topic a bit, but a fond recollection. Back in the '70's NatLamp did an issue dedicated to the idea of America as a second rate power (remember "Japan As Number One"?).

    My favorites were the modified song titles:

    I bought a new vibrating (no smart-**** remarks, please) Gillette razor after my old made-in-USA Schick broke down. The package states "razor, handle and battery (Duracell) made in China".
