Fly Line Cleaning

What do you folks use to clean your flylines? Just wondering.

Is that dude who used to sell Zipcast still around here? Haven't heard from him in awhile. That stuff isn't too bad.

    Mild dish soap and water. I use to use some of those line dressings but I don't think they are necessary with modern lines.

    Honestly my original post mentioning Zipcast was a tiny bit of a troll, but I do keep a bottle of Zipcast in my vest. If I'm nymphing and the flyline starts to sink, it helps keep it floating high, and it does so without attracting crud like a daub of **** or other silicone floatants sometimes will.

    I confess I was hoping someone would say "Zipcast sucks" so we could see if that guy would show up again and tell us about developing the product and the line manufacturers surreptitiously buying bottles of it to figure out what was in it.
