The other day I got a work related email from a woman named Katherine. In her signature block under her name was this: “she/her/hers.” It made me scratch my head since with Katherine as her name I figured she was a woman, But, I suspected it is some sort of new, “woke” thing so I looked it up. I guess I get it. What with all the flux around what gender, if any, people think of themselves as being it is handy if they let you know.
