Wife. I've watched a couple of this season's episodes with her. Not into it
I read the book when it was originally published.
In my stupid, never-ending soap opera about the founding of the Ottoman Empire, the Oghuz Turks just made a peace treaty with Byzantium so both could fight the Mongols.
Part of it is that I just can't buy the premise. I can't get there. There's echoes of the Islamic revolution (theocratic tribunals, hanging apostates from cranes, etc), but its a bit of a stretch to see it happening here.
Not TV but I'm listening to Moby ****. I tried to read it many times... At first it was impressive as anything I've ever read. Now it's almost painful. It's obvious that he’s truly mastered the English vocabulary. But did he have to prove it in every sentence?

My wife---she's unsure about the ending?
No spoilers.

I'm not into it either, but I'll probably keep watching to keep the peace in the Manor.

she has me watching american horror story, too......most of it isn't real well written, but it's good fluff
currently rewatching (again) the wire, on my own.....still the best show ever on TV

Come now Mister Starbuck---listen ye on
I’m watching The Killing, an AMC show from several years back. Pretty good.
Season 2 of Mindhunter on Netflix just dropped. I’m mega-stoked!
The Killing is chilling.
Watching “Billions” on Prime. Totally sucked in now. Im rooting for Axe.
As an aside: If you think your workplace is insane, and populated by scheming ambitious airheads, try streaming an episode or two of "W1A" on Netflix.
I've watched since it started. There is some truly brilliant dialog in this show.
