    Made a conscious effort to NOT watch. I may tune in tomorrow, but probably not. I'm going to wait until the field is whittled down to less than the population of New Delhi.

    I'm not going to vote for crazy crystal lady or Andrew Yang or W a n g or whatever his name is.

    I could hear shouty Grandpa from my kitchen, and Pocahontas, though well-versed in policy, did not help her reputation as a humorless scold by yelling at the audience. "That's not Funny!"

    Moonbeam did her thing, of course. There were actually a couple of candidates who sounded good, like the governor of Montana and Congressman Delaney. Of course they are both polling below 1%

    I... I just couldn't bring myself to watch. I've listened to long (anywhere from 40-60 minute) interviews with a lot of the candidates and I've found that very informative. What am I going to learn about these people in such short sound bites? No thanks. Debates are just goofy spectacles that allow the punditry can declare winners and losers.

    I'll tune in when Uncle Joe and Trump challenge one another 'to step outside.' There is a non-zero chance that happens if Biden is the nominee.

    De Blasio had to endure the slings and arrows of the other candidates because he hasn't summarily fired the officer who choked out Eric Garner yet, but he can't. He's union. Of course De Blasio couldn't say that on stage.

    That's got to sting.

    I'd have to say the loser last night was Kamala Harris. Both Biden and Tulsi dunked on her pretty hard.

    No winners, Biden lost less than last time. If this continues, four more years of the Donald and the statute of limitations runs out on most things.

    I said it before in the other thread and I'm holdin

    Uncle Joe as the candidate with experience and Mayor Pete as running mate
    This gives experience back in the WH and federal experience to Pete

    So next time when Uncle Joe is gettin kinda old for office----Pete can slide over
    Surely after 4 years Murrica would have gotten over a Gay public official

    Might be a mistake to take shots for Trump at Mayor Pete

    Pete served--Donny from Queens--not so much
    With a pride day now everywhere---significant chunk of electorate to insult
    Mayor Pete speaks 8 languages--Donny well----too easy

    Yep, Biden-Pete or Biden-Harris would be fine by me.

    Or Pete as the nominee.

    Ill vote for anyone over Dips h I t but obviously prefer someone who can actually win.

    Think It's gotta be Biden as a known entity

    Anyone else is a gamble to a gunshy electorate---who is still trying to deal with the current gamble

    (Not saying gambles don't pay off---but when your on a shakey streak---your bets get more conservative)

    Yep. Not only a known entity, but moderate. Now is not the time for some Che Guevara-type BS. I wish about 16 of the candidates would just throw in the towel right now.
