    Right? It looks like he stole the flag off the Capitol building in Jackson Mississippi and attached it to his bumper. That's the best part of the whole story.

    But I think this incident illustrates the moral as opposed to the purely instrumental case for capitalism. When we don't wish to do business with someone, we aren't forced to do so. the homeowner can seek further, as can the contractor. I don't see a problem here. He can believe what he wants, and so can the homeowner.

    That said, If a contractor thought it was a good business practice to attach a giant pride flag to his bumper to do my landscaping I might question if he or she were looking for trouble that I don't need. Leave your politics at home.

    I admit, I used to have one of those flags (a bandanna, actually) hanging up in my dorm room. Took a good conversation between me and a friend who was offended and worried by the presence of that to see how the presence of that item affected folks.

    Forgot I posted that. Yep. It's definitely a cultural thing for certain areas, but at the same time, why offend people?

    Or in my case, I'd rather people know I'm a jerk based on my actions and not on visual clues.

    I’m not talking about a bumper sticker, Gary. Ive seen several jacked up trucks flying 3x4 foot blue lives matter flags from their beds; more than one of them in concert with the rebel flag.

    In that context it is nothing other than a refutation of the BLM movement.

    As Chris said, Blue Lives Matter was invented as a direct result of the BLM movement; overtly motivated by racism.

    I do think it has evolved into a message that can evoke some legitimate support for cops, but context matters.
