    My Christmas.

    Game is scarce this year and we didn’t get any points on partridge Christmas Day so I threw pigeons for her. She caught one of my homers which wasn’t supposed to happen but if they don’t fly, they die. Circle of life, weed out the weak ones.

    I volunteered at the Community dinner. Did food prep and set up on Monday then Christmas did cleanup. Didn’t get to have dinner tho since right in middle of day and birds gotta fly. Late getting into town and food already packed. Got some pie, tho.

    Ate elk chorizo tacos for Christmas Eve and again for Christmas dinner.

    This is the sweet angel thing I set up. Old lady showed me ancient photo saying ‘This is what it should look like, everything is over there’ then pointed me to the stuff. Haha

    Good for you.

    We were assigned to one of three tables to make roughly 2200 dinners that would be delivered to people.

    Ironically, my wife and I were in charge of the ham serving. Really a lot of fun, and we were a bit disappointed we didn't get assigned a job on the second shift.

    Holy crap that’s a lot of dinners!

    I don’t know what turnout was like for the one I helped with, but I counted chairs and there was around 240 they set up. Small town, tho.

    They were expecting about that many diners at the mission itself. We were working on dinners that would be delivered throughout the Des Moines area.
