Bachman benefitted from Federal home loan.

Just a few weeks before Bachmann called for dismantling the programs during a House Financial Services Committee hearing, she and her husband signed for a $417,000 home loan to help finance their move to a 5,200-square-foot golf-course home, public records show. Experts who examined the loan documents for The Washington Post say that they are confident the loan was backed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.

    I understand as much as anybody that Ron Paul and his ilk are idiots when it comes to being anti-government, but it's not exactly as if Bachmann can control whether or not her lender keeps a loan or sells it to Fannie Mae.

    It's another example of her hypocrisy. How is that dumb? She talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. People like Mr Right need to be informed of facts that are backed up by credible sources, so he may be enlightened and walk bare foot in the wet grass and smoke giant splifs.

    to date she's directly benefited from nearly a half a million in taxpayer subsidies and actually has screamed about Fannie Mae in the past ... if it's so eee-vile then she should have paid cash for the house instead of letting a gubbmint program be behind her mortgage

    just more of the hypocrisy by someone who from school board daze on has claimed to be morally superior to everyone else

    she's only the spawn of Satan if he's batshit crazy too
