John McCain has gioblastoma, a very nasty form of brain cancer. It killed Ted Kennedy (and my wife's mother). I rarely agree with McCain politically but I respect and admire him. Honor and duty are not just buzz words, as he proved during his years as a P.O.W.

This is sad news, but at least he had a good run at 80 years old. It makes me sick to my stomach to see kids with cancer.

Who the hell knows what motivates that ****? Its probably McCain's embrace and defense of the liberal international order, or immigration reform, or any number of nominally center-right positions that McCain holds.

The man is a true American Hero. This is the same cancer that took my beautiful gracious Aunt Babe. She died within months of diagnosis. It was truly heartbreaking. My heart goes out to his family.
