"...Rose, with his high-pitched but wide-ranging voice and emotional passion...,"

That's the best kind of passion, they say.

I'm just wondering: do you heavy metal, etc."music" fans find your preference changes as you get older, or do you just keep listening to the same old stuff. (Trolling alert)

Axl who? G&R sucks in comparison to bands like AC/DC.

Crooow:This music would work better with women in bikinis shaking all over the place. I guess that's true of any music really.

I'm actually kind of excited about this.

I can totally see Axl belting out Thunderstruck. (And then I can see Axl belting out a fan, but that what makes it even more exciting, no?)

    G&R rocks. But G&R ain't AC/DC.

My prefernces haven't changed at all. Still a rocker at heart and listen to the same old stuff and the new stuff.

Although as I've gotten older I started to listen to some blue grass music and some of what they call outlaw country...a station found on satellite radio.

Same stuff, just not as loud. I am finding Journey a little less annoying and I am listening to more blues lately.

BTW I had heard that it was going to be Rob Halford.

I beg to differ, I hate Axl Rose, but Slash kicks major ****. AC/DC also, if you listen closely, tended to repeat themselves.

Good stuff. I'm a Myles Kennedy fan as well. Seems Slash has been quietly and happily playing guitar and having a good time over the years
