    I'll put more stock in Damon's speech when he stops paying taxes to fund this brutal government and starts redistributing that wealth to the needy.

    Not boring at all, the example of Germany should have taught us a lesson, but that has not happened. Obedience to the elite pervades our society today, as evidenced by people's acquiescence to our foreign policy of perpetual war for world economic dominance.

    the problem is, it's Matt Damon speaking on something other than acting. Once that is established, my interest level in what he has to say, drops to zero.

    I'm sorry you're cracked up. He's setting an example for the rest of the rich elite by giving up all his future income and suggests they limit their income to 250,000 per year. I'd say he,s not hypocritical, he's walking the talk.

    Ed, but he is keeping $200 million. Hey he earned it, I got no problem with that. But if he limited his income to $250k, he would not amass that fortune. But it is also unfair for people to disregard he is certainly giving a great deal of money to charity.
