Excellent pics Tim for a tree cam! I really need to set a few of these up this year. Surprised at how good the quality is. What ya got in the bucket?

    a grain & molasses mix

by the time ML season ended, we got a few good storms before i got the buckets out (i had antler traps strung over them)....then two good storms back to back as soon as they got out.....last set of tracks i saw in the area was two days after the feed went out....so it was squirrels, coons, birds, turkey all winter.....plus the yotes, a fox or two, and the bobcat

the deer showed back up about 10 days ago.......

both of those cams were under $100......one was list price, one was a cabelas bargain basement, but it was under $150 retail anyways

That is certainly is a nice mix of species.

    I've also gotten 10,000 squirrels.....blue jays....crows.....a fox or two......and a flying squirrel last night

i'd love to snag a bear or moose........moose is more likely, but neither is all that probable around here

the in-laws is about 2 miles from here......my duck blind (that i didn't hunt at all last year) is about 500 yards from 'camera 1', which is right at the edge of the bottom right corner of their yard

'moutlriecam' is about 100 yards off the left hand corner

emma's ground blind and food plots will go right between the two cams' we'll get going on that in the next month or two

they own 28 acres......we hope to buy their house within the next year or two......it will probably involve construction of an in-law apartment off the existing structure, but i can live with that

this is all about 15 miles as the crow flies from the state capital......and about the same distant from the coast

i bass fish the lake/marsh quite a bit......as well as duck hunt it......that is, until the current dam owner started draining the lake.....that is all about to come to some resolve soon, though

tons of nesting osprey and a fair amount of eagles on the lake......lots of snapping turtles, box & painted turtles too.......it is a pretty damned cool area
