    Tim,
    I think you're giving KC too much credit. Houston and the Pats are the only teams that pose a threat to the Badonkadonks.

    don't sleep on KC

    charles is a beast.....they can grind it out and control the ball the clock

    their D is pretty solid, and physical...they have solid DB's, too

    and andy reid is pretty darned good, and seems re-energized

    and arrowhead is always a tough trip

    i don't think they make a deep run in the 2nd season....not yet.....but i think they are a tough out and will take one from the Donks

    The Chiefs are OK on defense ranked 7th, to the Broncs 25th ranking (due mainly to playing bench warmers after huge leads and Bailey and Miller are two pro bowlers not playing yet)
    KC is 17th in offense to Broncs #1
    KC is 13th in rushing to Broncs 15th. Close enough.
    KC is 22nd in passing to Broncs #1.

    KC has yet to play anybody the Broncs haven't dispatched by considerably more points.
    Denver has yet to play Dallas or the Jags and KC has yet to play the Ravens and the Raiders.
    AFC West division games are always tough games and nobody takes them lightly, but the Broncs are hands down favorites against anybody anywhere in the AFC West.

    Well played, Andy!

    I'll tell ya, after this weekend I am liking the Patriots team a lot more. Oh, I still despise them but they are starting to look really good. Tom and The Nobodies might have something to say in the postseason.
    MIA didn't look good tonight. It can't be good when you get owned by a middling defense. I swear, that damned dome is worth 13 points of home advantage.

    Oh well, I will close with this:

    GO BUCCOS!!!

    I think he was referring to Brady vs Manning.

    I missed the part where Brady played Safety during the Super Bowl.

    I don't remember where I saw it, but apparently Brady had the least impressive workout in the history of the NFL combine.

    I just double checked this calculation using excel and it comes back as correct.
  • Bak4MorBak4Mor Senior Member Posts: 970 Senior Member
    After checking with my sabermetrician you are correct, but lets go inside the numbers.

    Eli = 2 w's against Tom
    Tom = 2 l's against Eli

    Head to head 2w>2l

    Bt the associative property Eli > Tom

    Further evidence;

    Tom is fortunate that Eli did not come into league until 2004 so no possible match ups in first two Super Bowl wins for Tom otherwise it might be 4 to 0.

    Tom does lead the race in illegitimate children and Ugg commercials. That's got to count for something.

    If the Pats and Broncs lost, that must mean that the Steelers and Bears won someplace. Its has to be science.

    What a weird game. Broncos were exposed on a couple of fronts, no run game and a fumble on the 3, Von Miller looking ordinary (suspension did hurt his game) Champ headed to Sun City, and no other pass rush. Stupid penalties. Yet, without the fumble on the 3 in the 4th qtr, they were close to winning. Peyton has been very mortal his last 2 games.

    I thought I hear something about Bong Miller putting on 10lbs? Guessing it was all the Cheetos he ate when he had the munchies.

    And in Bear town news, Jay Cutler has a torn groin muscle. How appropriate.

    we're going to have to put you on suicide watch after Manning pulls his typical playoff one and done

    I was wrong. Jim Irsay says Peyton sucks too. He should just retire and go away.

    Just putting your comment in perspective. Von Miller gets suspended for 6 games for using a substance that is legal in Colorado and you suggest he should get a 1 year suspension. Hernandez killed a guy.

    von miller attempted to pay off one of the NFL drug testers to circumvent a league rule & policy, he should have gotten far more than 6 games, that was a cave by Goodell

    hernandez is a **** heel person who killed someone.....that has nothing to do with the NFL......he's done and gone

    there's no perspective to be provided.....they are unrelated acts

    and yes, peyton manning is one of the worst playoff QB's all-time in terms of leading his teams to W/L

    Sounds like you want me to be your beard. The thing is, I like women; I don't need to just say it.
