    Which rivers, Sherb?
I read the fishing report from Silver Creek Outfitters yesterday and it appears that the Big Wood, Silver Creek, Salmon headwaters were spared. I'm wondering what riparian areas burnt up in your neck of the woods.

That orange spot there in mid TN was me burning 4 sets of used tires. I had to use several gallons of used 10W-30 to get it going. Sorry bout that.

South fork Boise. It burned from ridge to ridge.

Interesting that the west gets in the news for big fires, but the South and KS, OK and TX have a higher frequency of fires.

Yeah, with higher population density, other than CA, you would think otherwise. Perhaps due to the lower humidity and significantly less rainfall western fires tend to run amok a bit more?
