Biography

Began flyfishing 1948. Have fly fished for most species in most states as I traveled a lot with the USAF for 24 years or so and since. I'm from Ohio originally but fished a lot in Florida, Colorado, Wyoming, Washington state and Maine to name a few, and now live in Florida. Even my Education was fishing oriented "MS in Environment Science, MSPE in Outdoor Recreation and PhD work in Watershed Management and Streams.<p> I've guided in Maine, Colorado, Florida and Washington and worked Shops off and on since 1952. Currently hanging my hat at the Silver Bow Fly Shop in Spokane area during the summer. Fishing is my first love as far as a hobby goes but have, at one time or another played, taught and worked in the SCUBA, Hunting, Canoeing, Photography and Boating as well.<p>
