    Question Making cork poppers

I want to make my own cork bass poppers, but I just don't know where to start. I already have a lot of corks. What do you use to shape the corks?

One article I've read suggests using a Dremel Tool with a tip that screws into the cork or balsa and coarse nail files or such. My understanding is that balsa is a better medium, but your mileage may differ.

    Thanks! I'll try that.

It is very difficult to find decent cork these days.... a lot of holes and imperfections are the norm. I agree with magalloway, go with balsa. (I use pre-made hard foam bodies for poppers I build these days.)

Dremel tool. Set it up like a lathe. Files and sand paper to shape it.
