tying for August, it's gonna be great.
Pink Salmon return (starting later this month) and they are predicting 4 million swimming on either side of my neighborhood. I broke so many hook points on the last return I'm going with the tube this time to be able to switch out the hooks. Right when that is getting started I will go to MN though so I've been (can you even call it tying) putting up some more poppers for the big mouths. Lots of synthetics (even synthetic cork on a couple to see how it tools), enough to give Kunisan an embolism. the past couple years I've really enjoyed exploring how to make cork and balsa poppers, channeling my inner finger-painting 5 yr old.
