I just learned that Charlie Place, a Friend and Fellow Fly Fisherman passed away from cancer today. I know many of you in the Fly Fishing fraternity knew Charlie. He was a past President of the CFFA. He was a great story teller and writer as well as a top notch Fly Fisherman. Many of you may have read his writings or knew him personally. The streams in Connecticut and the rest of the USA where Charlie fished will be much lonelier from now on.
