    The south was on the wrong end of that 100%. Now they are trying to stop the unfair labor practices for people here illegally, and still they are called racist. Can't win.

    Or by trying to slow the flow of them flowing into the state. Guess we could do what Clinton did and send them to Guantanamo Bay.

    If they were really interested in this why don't they ever offer stiffer penalties for the people that hire and exploit them and instead only focus on deporting dreamers and breaking up families? Hell now they don't even want the people that did come here legally to bring their families them! Talk about the family values party.

    Every time I talk about throwing the people that knowingly hire illegals in prison, why doesn't any one on the right jump on that bandwagon?

    I didn't realize that true Republicans thought the civil war was not about slavery.

    Because people lie and provide false paperwork. Why place the burden of proof on small business owners. They didn't create this mess. E-Verify is the best solution we have right now. Trump and his base have been pushing for E-Verify since before Trump, but it's the left who doesn't want it....

    It was. However, I would say the majority of the Souths dead were not, or never would have been, slave owners. They were fighting what they saw as northern aggression.
