Old and tired and with um gran saudade for the days of my youth. I saw the original band during one of the Fillmore East sessions and left with a contact high.

    Many sips poured.

2017 may give 2016 a run for its money regarding entertainers.

Allman Brothers were/are huge for me. Gregg's solo work is outstanding too. Played Multi Colored Lady when I saw the news.

I might say Charlie Patton had a greater feeling of the blues, but that would be racist. hah Seriously, lots memories made while listening to the Allman Brothers. Another loss.
I find the assault on free thought disturbing,
I find the willingness to give it up frightening.

Did he die in the backseat of a Greyhound Bus? That would have brought things full circle.
