The new site is finally live - www.flyfisherman.com

Check out the fly tiers bench - http://community.flyfisherman.com/fly-bench

It is really great. I'm a little biased, but...

You can submit flies, and search our database of 1700+ existing flies. We have a select group called the "Fly Fisherman 40" - you'll recognize them all... But, the photos and step-by-step instructions are really great.

re: Fly Fisherman

I believe Ross is still the editor of the magazine. Although, I have very little interaction with him.

re: david.robbins

Are you going to port pages that were active on the old site but now are broken links to the new site? You used to have a great number of urls that I have bookmarked that no longer work, not to mention the urls that reference the old site on other fly fishing blogs and web pages. For example, the archive index of articles on Fly Fisherman Magazine that used to be here:

http://www.flyfisherman.com/archive/index.html

I'm not able to log in. I only get error upon error. Decided it's not for me.

re: Sjo

Very sharp look but I would add to thte above that these ads that keep popping up when you cross them get in the way and are more likely to get me to never buy that product then they are to induce me to. I am perfectly able to click on an ad if I have interest. There is no need for it to pop up as I am going about moving my cursor back and forth to scroll down the page.

re: david.robbins

The search feature in the fly data base is worthless.  I put in Saltwater/Bonefish and on the first page only one fly is appropriate and the first two entries are trout dry flies.

re: david.robbins

The new fly bench site looks great. When selecting the basic 40 flies, step by step instructions are revealed. This is not the case when I select any of the flies in other categories. A window that should reveal the fly and step by step instructions is blank. Am I missing something?

Thanks in adavance.
