Two of my favorite fresh water targets. Cats and Carp!  Or should I say big Cats and Carp as they often come.  I've noted before that in comparable circumstance, say fishing the N Platte below Saratoga and you hook into a Channel Cat of three lbs or so, you'll wonder what in the world  has got into that trout that you think you're catching.  Tie a three lb trout and cat tail to tail and the trout will met dragged!  Carp seem to get more super charged the bigger they get and often a smaller one isn't a super fight but fun for sure.  Luckily there are plenty of biguns around!
