    Snow-flakery around this issue just cost a local newspaper editor his job. Actually, I agree with the decision to fire him.

    If you purport to be an objective newspaper editor or reporter you basically have to keep your political opinions to yourself.

    No you have to keep them out of the newspaper, unless it is in the editorial section.

    Right. Because you saw so many negative articles about fiscal spending. Editorials, yes. News articles no.

    My sense is that the reason conservatives/Rs claim the NYT and WaPo are biased is that they report developments that the conservatives/Rs would like swept under the rug,not that that reporting is inaccurate.
