Not when you force people to use facilities based on that form and not that decision they make on their own.

Because figuring out which bathroom you should use is difficult?

    The former is tedious.

Chris went to the store. There, they bought milk.

Not going to work for me.

No because you can be arrested for using the bathroom based on your gender choice.

    Why are they wrong?

I added an edit but too late I guess. Assigning your child non-binary is assigning a gender identity. It's not the same as "I don't know."

The solution is simple...use the correct bathroom according to the parts you were born with.

Psychology 101. They’re not doing this for the future well being if the child. This is self-aggrandizement and maybe a bit of social rebellion, nothing more.

So what you're saying is that bathroom use should be based on sex rather than gender?

    Bigot.

So this person should use the ladies room?

Wow that is some serious analysis of someone you have neither met or talked to.

Wow. . . I'll bet the spike of testosterone that hit that guy was an eye-opener. Like holy ****, so THIS is what's its like to be a guy. Imagine being a woman, and then one day the T hits you, and all of these pornographic images start rolling through your mind, unbidden, and you can't stop them.

Now NZ might say that if he doesn't have a ****, he should use the ladies room. But is he the one that is going to do the checking?

transexuals are not my issue. We've talked about this before. There wouldn't be any way to tell.

But gender identity doesn't require the physical transition. It literally amounts to "I identify as XX or XY. Not that I AM, mind you, that's just that's how I identify. And why are you bigots uncomfortable with me peeing next to your child? I don't understand, I identify as female. Can't you understand that? Is it my beard that's throwing you off?

I am more comfortable with a transsexual in a stall next to a kid than a number of Republican politicians and preachers.

I just read in the WSJ, that as of October, new parents now have three choices for "sex" on their child's birth certificate:

    Male, Female, and "Non-binary."

You have to be **** me.
You can also get this designation on your drivers license

None. But I have known many transgendered people. I think that experience is more relevant to this discussion.

Regardless of what the parent a doctor or anyone else says a child has a genetic code that determines their sex. End of story.
Intersex. A person can be born with a gender mix. It can be expressed at just the chromosome level or hormones or mixed tissues or mixed partial genitals. The latter expressions related to the chromosome mixture.
