  Well,,, I did cut the cable about three years ago. I get my 100% of my news from the web.

  We did the same (well, DirecTV) about one year ago. I miss the sports highlight shows like baseball tonight and NHL tonight but other than that TV is worthless. Netflix, Amazon and sports subscriptions keep me happy.
  
  Also, I asked you guys about new TV's last fall in anticipation of our 9 year old Samsung dying. Well, it croaked last week. Replacing it really doesn't seem to be a priority with my wife or I.

  Also, we have yet to install a TV antenna in our new (old) house we moved into last fall. Local news (any local news) is such trash.
