Keep in mind though, that Hillary was such a deeply flawed candidate that she lost 23 primaries to an aging Jewish socialist with a strong Brooklyn accent, although Superdelegates gave her six of those states back at the convention, with one tie.
I still predict that the Repubs will try to come up with a variation on Superdelegates to try to avoid a repeat of the 2016 primary debacle. Unfortunately, the base now is so firmly Know Nothing that it won't work.
