You asked for a stillwater fly fishing forum, so here it is. This one is for anyone who enjoys a warm afternoon in a float tube, spotting cruising trout from a high bank, fishing a spring chironomid hatch with a strike indicator and Bow-tie Buzzer, or chasing gulpers eating Tricos or Callibaetis duns.

This bulletin board is perhaps the best source of fly-fishing advice and information on the Internet. Tiers like Hans Weilenmann, A.K. Best, Ed Gallop, Ray Kunz, Gandolf, Damselfly, and many others make it work.

This forum is for those who enjoy the slashing strike of a toothy pike, beauty and solitude of a smallmouth bass river, or twitching a bass popper through the reeds.

There isn't much trouting in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma, and this is a good place to commiserate about it--or talk about bass and bluegill.

Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. We think this is the best trout-fishing region in the country. If you disagree, this would be a good place to plead your case.

California isn't technically the "Southwest" but it is the most south and west you can get in this country. Also includes Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico which really are the Southwest.
